(January 11, 2009) If you don't like a DVD movie, you're watching, do you destroy the TV? Then why would we work to destroy ourselves when we are good people who sometimes do bad things? If your "internal movie" is a bad one and it's always playing, then you'll always struggle in all facets of your life. Take out that DVD and put in one filled with hope, love and growth! Reinventing the outside without changing the inside does nothing to change yourself. "As a man thinketh, so he is." Sixty-five percent of our conscious thoughts don't change and most of those thoughts (95%) are negative. The brain follows the path of least resistance, so it's no wonder that when we say that we're "in a rut", it fits because it's the easiest path even though it can be the most destructive to ourselves. It takes courage to get out of the rut, out of the average track. Begin to prophesy over yourself the Will of God and what His path is for your life! Heart is the soil and thoughts are the seeds. Whatever you plant will grow. Unchallenged thoughts become false facts. Seven ways to "change the movie" and put in a better one: 1. Guard your heart.
