While DUI is a negative thing, LUI is a very positive thing. We are living under the influence of the Holy Spirit. We've heard about Him, but few of us know Him. We can know every scripture, give our tithe, yet still not know Him. If we memorize the rules, we feel like we know Him, but we don't. We need to get in the Spirit! One way to have LUI is to have pleasing worship. God is always looking for people who are worshipers. If God had a scoresheet for our worship today, how would He score it? It's all about the heart. Another way is to be continually in the spirit of the Lord. There's so much more than just one experience. He wants you to experience His glory continually, all the time. Sometimes we want so much, the biggest bang for our tithing bucks, but do we ever go to church excited that we are going to worship? God wants to elevate us. He wants to take us from where we're at and lift us to a higher place. He wants to reveal things to His closest friends, those who worship Him. We have a revelation problem in our church today. We want to focus on old revelations, but God wants us to experience new revelations. When we pick up God's word, we need to find out what's new that God revealed to you today. If you are living under the influence, you can speak to those things that need God's power to be corrected. When we have LUI, we have Holy calm. They know that God's in control. They have quiet strength. They are an anchor. If you LUI, the Holy Spirit will make His presence known. When the Holy Spirit shows up, He really knows how to make an entrance. Ask yourself: Does my experience fall under Holy scripture? Many times is does, but many times it does not. Discern before accepting that it's from God for sure. We bear fruit when we are living under the influence. Read: John 4:23-24, Revelation 1 - Jon Bruney Pastor Leona Sattison Secretary James Bruney Worship Leader ![]() Drew Kuespert Webmaster |
