Since that dollar represents everything that we need in order to purchase, we will run out of our withdrawals if we don't make any deposits. Many are finding shortfalls in their currency accounts, therefore they have a sense of helplessness and a loss of hope. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then you live in a diffent Kingdom. The Kingdom's economy is based not on the U.S. Dollar, but on Faith. No country or kingdom can operate without currency. What happens if you don't have the right currency? No matter how much money you have in your pocket, you are as good as broke if you don't have the right currency for that country. We call these people poor. But, in the Kingdom of God, those who are poor are those who are faithless. The richest people could be the poorest in the Eyes of God. Loss of faith leads to loss of hope which leads to dispair. Without faith, the riches of God are withheld from you. The end game is that the devil wants you to be faithless and be suspicious of God. America has been going through an economic crisis. At the same time, the Kingdom of Heaven in America is going through a faith crisis. Many times we live off of other people's faith. It's good in certain times, when we are a new baby Christian or are in deep times of dispair, but if we come to rely on it, then we can't expect to have the currency of faith to make it through. We have to have our own faith at some point in our lives. God's goodness will never run out. God doesn't need a bailout. God wants you to live the lavish spiritual life. They key is to have a large faith account. When was the last time you made a deposit to your faith account? Jesus was astonished at the faith of the centurion. He wasn't a religious man. He was a gentile. Then, how did he understand the authority of the Kingdom of Heaven? His faith became great because he had to overcome something: Pride. This soldier of Rome had to humble himself to a poor, barefoot, Jewish preacher. Great faith overcomes great obstacles. He understood that everytime he overcame an obstacle, he became stronger. He called Jesus Lord. How humbling! His attitude was that "(Jesus,) I don't even deserve for you to come under my roof." His faith was great because he carried the authority. He understood that when Jesus spoke, He carried the authority of God. The centurion got it. Do we? Is God's word good enough for you? God said it and I believe it and that's good enough for me. God loves to be trusted. There are times when God just wants you to jump. He challenges you and most of the time we second-guess what he's asking us to do. We ask Him things like "Where's the net?", "Are you sure you're going to catch me?". God just wants us to trust Him. Just jump when he challenges you. Say "God, your word today is good enough for me!" Kingdom currency brings Kingdom results. Wouldn't it be great to astonish Jesus?
