This week's hero is Moses' Number One guy. His name is Joshua. Joshua was a man of faith. He was one of only two left out of the generation of slavery in Egypt. When God's people have fresh positions, they have fresh perspectives.

God's Word is powerful. It activates you and releases you. God's encouragement helped Joshua believe in himself, just like he does for us. Your picture is up on God's fridge.

Joshua has to carry on for Moses' legacy...that must have been tough! Big shoes to fill! But, God was there. God believed in Joshua. The same thing goes for us! He could have had an inferiority complex. But God said: So I was with Moses, I'm going to be with you! Wow! Hallelujah!

When God said that He would never leave or forsake Joshua, it gave Joshua confidence; he was able to see beyond the enemies and obstacles put in front of him. So many times God wants to encourage us, but we only see the obstacle.

God was going to provide for Joshua. How will everyone be fed? Joshua knew that if he was obedience and faithful, God would provide.

God gave words of encouragement. Joshua knew that God would not leave his side and it was through these words on encouragement that allowed him to have these beliefs.

We've all be born into slavery. It was miracle of the cross and the resurrection that delivered us from that bondage. We have been called to something and so many times life beats that down, confusing us, raising questions and causing us to have self-doubt. God says that this is your time! It's time to take that dream off the shelf and activate it! Every dream was have in this body falls under the dream of the body: To ignite a worldwide passion for Jesus! If God promised that He will be with you and He won't leave you or forsake you, what do you think you could accomplish?
