Heroes jump in and do things when they're needed even if it puts their own life at risk. God's destiny for you is for you to live your life like a hero. The Hall of Fame of Faith can be found in Hebrews 11. All three Biblical heroes had three common traits: Faith, Courage, Commitment. None of these traits are born into us, they are learned as we grow.

Heroes always have the courage to act upon an opportunity. Heroes are not always the smartest or most talented people, but they do have the most courage. Courage is doing something you need to do that you might get hurt. Heroes are able to overcome their fear. It's not about not being afraid, but it's about overcoming fear. Heroes seize opportunities. God is always putting opportunities in front of you. Are you identifying and seizing them?]

Heroes have a different vision of things. Their perception is that crisis and roadblocks are opportunities. Where there is great crisis there are great opportunities. Go to any problem in any community and you'll find hundreds of complainers, but very few looking for solutions.

Heroes have the courage to do what's right even if it's unpopular. Daniel, Isaiah, the woman of great faith...they all had to make unpopular decisions, but their decisions were the right thing to do!

Courage is contageous. When one person leads the charge, everyone rallies around them. When his 300 men told him that tens of thousands of arrows would be raining down from the sky from his enemy, Leonidas said they were "so much the better that we will fight in the shade".

A heroes destiny is defined by the price that they are willing to pay. There are things in this life that you have to die to: materialism, personal satisfaction, etc. If you can't die to the little things, you can never die to the big things. The deeper you go with God, the more the price goes up. There is no minimum to get by.

Heroes are committed to give their best everytime. If 99.9% were good enough, 22,000 would be deducted from the wrong account. If that was the case, many babies would be given to the wrong family every hour!

Heroes choose duty over danger. They think about responsibilities instead of their rights. To whom much is given, much is required. They see the big picture. They don't care what others think, just what God thinks.

God is looking for heroes. Those with uncommon faith, uncommon courage and uncommon commitment. Are you up to the challenge or are you going to stay seated and let someone else do it?
