It's imperative that we listen to the voice of God. We need to understand God's will for us and our church. God has a vision and a mission for your family and for you, which falls under the ministry of the church. Each of us has been gifted by God that we use that gift to forward His Kingdom. God wants to instruct us and guide us: 1. God has a will. He has a written will. It's called The Bible. But, there is an unwritten will of God. Sometimes, you have a big decision to make--a gray area--where we can't pinpoint a scripture to help us with that decision. If in trouble, obey the written word first. 2. God wants to have an intimacy with you. He wants to reveal things with you because He's your friend. He shares His secrets with His friends. When you accept Christ, you are saved, but do have a relationship with God? Yes, you have a place in heaven, but God's desire is to grow with you beyond that. He was a bona fide relationship with you. He wants your time. He doesn't just want you to plan time with Him. He wants you to take time to bask in His glory, the glory that He has for you. Soak in His presence. God wants you to fall in love with Him. When you are in love with someone, you are willing to listen to them. You are interested of the little details. When we fall in love with God, we want to find out the intimate details and we want to please Him. 3. Be willing to accept God's will before you know what it is. We always want a peek. But, if we just accept His will before we receive it, we will be able to receive exactly what He has in store for us, things that will bless us and refine us. If we do God's will and we accept and receive what He has for me, we will have a fulfilled, prosperous life. Why are people so messed up today? Because they are looking for fulfillment in places where it doesn't exist. Only through God can we experience the kind of fulfillment and prosperity that we desire and God desires for us. It is success. Read: Ephesians 2:10, Psalm 32:8, Romans 8:31-32, Proverbs 3:1-6 - Jon Bruney Pastor Leona Sattison Secretary James Bruney Worship Leader ![]() Drew Kuespert Webmaster |
