![]() It's time for churches to get past what we can do to what God can do. As the Bible says "...A rope made of triple-braided cord is hard to break." We need to break every huddle of every day with the cry of "TEAM!" Leaders are important, but sometimes we view leaders as the end all, be all, but the "crew" is much more valuable. God wants to unleash a level of leadership in all of the "crew" to change the world. Each of us is important to the body. As the chaos theory suggests, a butterfly's wings flapping in China can cause a tidal wave in Washington. The motto of our churches should always be "less about me, more about we, but most about Him." What you do does matter and does affect everybody. The church needs to begin to celebrate the stories of the "crew". It's important that those with gifts share those to better the entire unit. "Teamwork does make the dream work." There is no better example of the power of Jesus than the concept of teamwork. The direction of the body should always be in the direction of Christ. We're connected because of Him and we always need to be in pursuit of Him. We come together no to promote a pastor or promote a church,. but to promote the World's Greatest Lover: God!
