(November 29, 2009) I remember trying to travel over Thanksgiving. It was different. I also remember traveling almost right after September 11. That certainly was interesting. We were herded around like cattle. Now, they are using technology to figure out whether you are a terrorists or a liar at the airport. One item is called an Anxiety Machine. It can, within a fraction of a second, alert authorities to several readings about you as you pass through it. Now, without having to go to the airport, people are experiencing anxiety. Money issues. Family. School. Jobs. Plumbling problems. Health. Most Christians walk around with some form of anxiety. Understand that our anxiety now is nothing compared to the last days. As we progress, we need to understand that God wants to take that anxiety and worry away from us. When we walk through His Anxiety Machine, we won't see any changes. God says for us to be careful not to let you heart be filled with anxiety. Things are unfolding. Pray that you escape that Day of Punishment. That day could be very soon, but when we worry and have anxiety, we are unfocused on the day when the Lord comes back. We live in a fallen world. It isn't the ultimate design...right now. We need to operate out of a position of faith, not a position of fear. Don't get all caught up in what's going to happen, just focus on Him. Jesus encourages His disciples to pray for strength. He tells us to assume the position: our heads up and our knees down. We need to fight through prayer. Almost all of us pray far less than we worry. Imagine what could happen if for every minute we worry we devote a minute of prayer! When we worry, we are inviting a foothold for the devil to enter our lives. Anxiety does not comes from God. Worry does not come from God. We can simply say in the Name of Jesus, I command that fear, worry and anxiety to get off of me! For Christians, we will begin to see signs and wonders and miracles on a daily basis despite all of the trouble that is bound to come down. We will be able to see it. We will be protected by God. The Israelites were provided for just as we will. God will provided. It doesn't mean for us to be lazy, but we need to be ready to take advantage. When the world is crumbling around us, people will be looking around them for something they don't have. But, Christians will take peace knowing that they have an anointing on their lives and anxiety will not be there. Others will then come to us and then to Him.
